Is it possible to send money to any country through Al Ansari Exchange?

Yes, Al Ansari Exchange offers world-wide remittance services, barring a few countries which may have legal or political limitations.

How quickly does the money sent through you reach the beneficiary account?

Time taken for your money to reach beneficiary account depends upon the mode of remittance you have chosen and the beneficiary location.
 
For Demand Draft – 3 to 5 working days, subject to the demand draft couriered by us reaching the beneficiary bank and the payee bank within normal time.
 
Account-to-Account Transfer – 1 to 3 working days in countries where your beneficiary bank is a member of the well-established automated payment system. In other cases, 3 to 6 working days.

What are the ID Cards you accept at your counter?

Following are the list of IDs accepted at our counter (Please produce the originals)

For UAE Nationals
 
  • Primary Identification:

    • Passport 
    • Citizenship Card 
    • UAE Driving License
    • EMIRATES ID


 
  • Secondary Identification:

    • UAE Department of Defense (Staff ID)
    • UAE Ministries (Staff ID)
    • Local Emirate Municipality (Staff ID)
    • Local Police Department (Staff ID)
    • ID issued by Public Sector Undertakings
    • Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority
    • Dubai Duty Free Shop (Staff ID)
Private companies, clinics, hospitals, or equivalent ID documents are not acceptable.

 
Nationals of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman

Is it compulsory for me to come to your branch to make a transaction?

Yes, it is compulsory for you to come to our branch to conduct a transaction from the point of AML requirement. But, if you are a registered e-exchange customer, then visits to the branch can be avoided.
 
However, you have to visit the branch for a one-time activation for e-exchange.

In the present, it is mandatory to pay VAT as per the UAE government law. How is the Vat being applied with our remittances ?

VAT is being applied only on the total service charges the customer has to pay.
